Director, DPI Program Participation and Compliance

CGA recently announced the establishment of the Damage Prevention Institute (DPI), which will take the industry to the next level by using data and statistics to address systemic issues in the damage prevention process. The DPI will focus on creating a robust peer review and accreditation process for damage prevention policies and practices that will be based on concrete damage prevention metrics across all key stakeholder groups.

CGA is seeking an organized, motivated candidate with significant skills in membership management, accreditation processes, and peer review processes to support the development of the DPI. The Director of DPI Participation and Compliance will play a critical role in implementing the DPI, including working with CGA leadership to deploy the processes that guide the DPI’s participant accreditation and member peer reviews.  This position will report directly to the Vice President of the Damage Prevention Institute.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage DPI participant and program services, with oversight from CGA leadership and coordination with relevant committees, including:
    • Deploy policies and processes that are integral to DPI participation.
    • Support development and manage implementation of the peer review process for DPI members, which will identify and prioritize areas for improvement and identify leading practices for safety and efficiency across stakeholder groups.
    • Assist in the development of and manage implementation of the accreditation process for DPI participants, which will entail demonstrated adherence to DPI policies.
    • Provide general member support to DPI participants.
  • Manage and provide support to committees, working groups and task teams including but not limited to scheduling and meeting preparation, project management, and volunteer coordination.
  • Work strategically to identify challenges and opportunities and address potential challenges proactively.

Requirements/ Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • 8 plus years of experience in non-profit or damage prevention related industry.
  • Experience managing the implementation of peer review programs.
  • Experience managing accreditation processes for individuals or companies.
  • Experience with hands-on member support.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills. 
  • Excellent professional writing and public speaking skills.
  • Experience with integration of new systems/processes/software.
  • This position will require domestic travel.
