Job description
The Business Development Manager will be responsible for generating revenue
opportunities from inbound leads, outbound calling, trade shows, networking, social media.
You will also be responsible for taking the opportunity through the sales cycle and closing
the deal.
Responsibilities:

  • Identify, qualify and close new account business opportunities within the assigned region.
  • Engage the prospect through the sales cycle working with the pre-sales team to ensure the transaction closes.
  • Develop a good understanding of competitive products and the market dynamics
  • Maintain impeccable activity tracking using Salesforce.
  •  Meet / exceed sales targets.  

Skills:

  • Proven presentation capabilities, negotiation skills and competence closing new business/sales.
  • Must be committed, focused, polite, and persistent.
  • Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to listen to the prospect, and quickly establish customer rapport over the phone.
  • Able to independently plan, organize and follow sales process according to their priority.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Fast learner, with excellent problem solving skills and proven propensity to learn new technologies quickly.
  • Experience using CRM, Salesforce.

Qualifications:
  • College degree preferred.
  • Three years sales experience with demonstrated success.
  • Prior Experience with the Damage prevention industry a great plus
  • Excellent verbal, written and computer skills.
